My name is Nimzing Ladep, a graduate of Imperial College London. I am the director of Worthy works Ltd. I am a consultant gastroenterologist, working in the National Health Service at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I am a consultant Hepatologist with special interest in viral hepatitis. I have authored several peer-reviewed high impact journals as well as contributed to several medical textbooks., one of which tries to explain the reasons behind the persistent high numbers of deaths from liver cancer in subsaharan Africa.

Worthy works was registered as a company with the aim to enhance high standards of competent clinical care for patients in developing countries by supporting evidence based medical education in those countries.

I had completed a PhD at Imperial College in 2014 based on my research work in discovery of urinary biomarkers of primary liver cancer. This work got published in high impact journals.

Prior to undertaking my PhD, I had worked in 2 different countries. Initially, I taught medical students as well as postgraduate doctors in Nigeria during 2005 to 2008, as senior lecturer/consultant in gastroenterology. Additionally, I worked in HIV medicine, in collaboration with researchers at Harvard/ John Hopkins University.

My passion for teaching and mentoring students and doctors started since my early days as a medical students. This saw me decide the specialty that I chose as well as the job roles. It is great to connect with all members of this team and looking forward to having the best of career times with all subscribers.
